2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke 5" Downpipe Back DPF Delete Pipe

This high-performance component does not comply with the laws and regulations for highway driving and cannot be used on any vehicle that has been registered or certified for use on highways. This is the installation process for the DP-0307: 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke 5" Downpipe Back DPF Delete Pipe, for your reference during the installation process.

Step 1:
1.Remove all pipelines/sensors from the particulate filter. Remove the OE system from the truck.
2.Disassemble the OEM exhaust system. Starting from the flange end of the downspout, unscrew the flange connection and all clamps from the rear of the particle filter to the tailpipe. Remove the metal hanger from the OE rubber hanger. If there is no need to cut the tailpipe, the rear wheels can be freely suspended, making it easier to remove the tailpipe section.

Step 2:
Before installation, install the flange into the lower pipe, loosely tighten the flange at the end of the downspout together, and install pipe # 1.

Step 3:
Next, install the # 2 pipe and connect the narrower end to the end of the # 1 pipe. Place the hanger on the pipe hook and support it with a bracket. place the metal hanger onto the OE rubber support. The exhaust pipe is longer and suitable for various applications, and may require trimming for your truck.

Step 4:
Measure the gap between the muffler and the middle pipe. Trim and install extension #4 pipes as needed, which may require trimming to achieve a perfect fit.
With the shaft tube in place, install the muffler # 5 disassembly tube onto the shaft tube and support it with a bracket.

Step 5:
Next, install the # 5 and # 6 pipes, pass the # 5 shaft pipe over the shaft component, connect the tail end to the #6 tail pipe, and fix it with a bracket.

Step 6:
With the pipes mounted loosely, adjust the new system for clearanceand and appearance.Evenly tighten all clamps starting with the front flange connection working your way to the back.
