This is the installation process for the ER-0031: 2011-2016 6.6L GMC Chevy Duramax Diesel LML EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit, for your reference during the installation process.
ER-0031
Step 1:
Disconnect the negative cable from both batteries.

Step 2:
1.By removing the metal fixing clip on the lower pipe of the radiator and pulling the pipe out of the radiator a sufficient distance, the coolant can flow out and the engine coolant can be drained. As the coolant flow rate slows down and the overflow bottle becomes empty, reconnect the lower radiator pipeline.
2.Remove the intake resonator fixed by two bolts.

Step 4:
1.Remove the electrical connector on the plastic intercooler pipe and the electrical plug on the throttle valve.
2.Remove the plastic intercooler pipe from the throttle valve. The intercooler tube has a twist lock connection at the throttle valve.

Step 5:
1.Remove the green electrical connector power cord from the back of the grille heater.
2.Remove the plastic cover on the side of the grille heater and remove the red power cord.

Step 7:
1.Remove the two bolts that secure the PCV valve to the back of the plastic turbine interface. Safely remove the PCV and mounting bracket.
2.Release the V-band clamp that secures the plastic turbine interface to the turbine. Remove the interface from it.

Step 11:
1.Remove the front EGR cooler fixed by the two vertical bolts on the front side of the EGR cooler.
2.Remove the four bolts that secure the second EGR cooler to the exhaust bypass valve. The cooler is fixed in place by vertical bolts near the front of the cooler.

Step 13:
1.Using one of the larger hose clamps, install the new 5/8 "coolant pipe into the existing return pipe. The existing return pipe extends downwards behind the turbine. The free end of the larger blue tee will be directly installed in the return pipe.
2.After the 5/8 "coolant pipe is in place, connect the 3/8" coolant pipe and brass hook to the front coolant pipe near the thermostat. Use a larger hose clamp to install the thorny accessory into the front coolant line that was previously connected to the front EGR cooler.

Step 14:
1.Use the last large hose clamp to install the loose end of the 3/8 "coolant pipe into the heater hose that enters the return wall.
2.Use a smaller hose clamp to install the coolant line previously connected to the exhaust bypass valve onto the last open port of the new coolant line.
