EGR Remove fixed my weird stuttering/shudder issue!

For months, my 2015 6.7L had this weird stutter under light acceleration. I replaced filters, checked sensors, nothing worked. Last week I finally removed the EGR and blocked it off. The truck runs smoother than the day I bought it! I guess the EGR valve was gunked up and sticking. Anyone else have a "magic fix" after deleting?

Same here. My idle was super rough before the delete. These engines were never meant to breathe their own soot.

Carbon buildup in the intake from the EGR is the #1 killer of performance. You probably gained 20hp just by letting it breathe clean air.

Did you do the full EGR removal or just a block-off plate? I’m trying to decide which way to go.
