HOW much fuel pressure is enough for 6.0L injectors and WHAT is the "Blue Spring" mod?

I’ve been reading that low fuel pressure is the #1 killer of the expensive HEUI injectors on these trucks. My 2004 feels a bit sluggish on top-end. I’m seeing people recommend the "Blue Spring" kit as a cheap insurance policy. WHAT exactly does this kit change in the fuel regulator, and HOW much of a pressure jump should I expect to see on my monitor? Is it really worth the $60, or should I just save that money for a full regulated return system?

Do not wait to do this. I’ve seen injectors fail with less than 100k miles because the owner didn't know their fuel pump was tired and the spring was weak. It’s a 30-minute job in your driveway. Just be careful with the tiny T-27 Torx bolts on the regulator housing—they are easy to strip and drop into the engine valley. Once you install it, the truck will likely idle smoother and have better throttle response. It’s the first thing every 6.0L owner should do after buying their truck.
