Thinking of deleting the CCV to keep the intake clean, but what about inspection?

I really want to get that oil sludge out of my intake tract. CCV reroute seems like a no-brainer, but I'm worried about the local inspection guy. Do you guys swap it back to stock every year, or is it hidden well enough that they don't notice?
 
Most inspectors aren't looking for CCV hoses. They care about DPFs and catalytic converters. Keep your hose run clean and hidden along the frame rail, you’ll be fine.
 
I built a "quick-swap" setup using JIC fittings. Takes me 5 minutes to pop it off and put the stock box back on for inspection day.
