What is the exact step-by-step cleanup process after a Bosch CP4 high-pressure fuel pump self-destructs on an LML Duramax?

My 2013 Silverado 2500HD (135k miles, stock) just threw a P0087 low rail pressure code and died on the highway. I pulled the fuel pressure regulator on top of the pump, and the screen is absolutely covered in shiny silver metallic glitter. The infamous CP4 has officially exploded and showered my entire fuel system with metal debris.

My dealer is quoting $10,000 to swap out every single thing from the gas tank to all 8 injectors. What parts are absolutely non-negotiable to replace, and what can actually be saved and flushed? Also, once I rebuild this nightmare, how does a CP3 conversion kit permanently eliminate this failure point?

Do NOT let the dealer put another Bosch CP4 back on that truck. You are literally paying them $10k to install another ticking time bomb. The CP4 uses a roller design that skates, turns 90 degrees sideways, and shaves itself into dust the second it gets a whiff of air or bad fuel. Go buy a 'No-Tune' CP3 conversion kit. The CP3 uses a heavy-duty three-piston setup that doesn't slide or turn sideways. Even if it fails down the road, it just loses pressure—it will never self-destruct or contaminate your lines with metal debris again.
