    DPF Remove: Is it "worth it" for a daily driver? (07.5-12 Cummins)

    The EGT drop is real, especially on long uphill pulls. When that DPF is active, the exhaust is essentially backed up, creating a 'thermal blanket' effect around the turbine. Once that restriction is gone, the turbo spools much more freely. I saw about 150-200°F lower sustained temps on mountain...
