    Check the intake horn-to-turbo connection. That o-ring gets old and leaks at high pressure. Also, look at the EGR up-pipe—sometimes they crack at the flex joint.

    Thinking of deleting the CCV to keep the intake clean, but what about inspection?

    Most inspectors aren't looking for CCV hoses. They care about DPFs and catalytic converters. Keep your hose run clean and hidden along the frame rail, you’ll be fine.
