This high-performance component does not comply with the laws and regulations for highway driving and cannot be used on any vehicle that has been registered or certified for use on highways. This means that the component may only be suitable for racing cars or other off-road vehicles. If it is installed on vehicles driving on the highway, legal issues will be borne by oneself.
Note: For your safety, we recommend disconnecting any negative battery terminals when working on any vehicle, installing cold air intakes requires removing the pipe from the turbine intakes, using paint and not allowing any dust, debris or tools to remain where they may enter the system.
This is the installation process for the ER-0114: 2007-2010 Cummins ISX CM871 EGR Plug Kit Stage 2 Plates and Plugs Aluminum Generic,provided for your reference during installation.
Step 1:
Remove EGR pipe from the intake on the Drivers side of the engine x3 13mm socket Bolts.
Step 2:
1.Clean intake manifold surface and install new plugs and washers.
2.On the passenger side remove intake pipe, turbo... ect, To remove EGR Cooler to get to the V-band Clamp From EGR Cooler and Exhaust manifold with10mm Deep Socket.
Step 3:
1.Once Clamp Removed take out EGR Cooler Install New plug and Gasket included in the kit on the collector install V-band Clamp. Continue removing EGR Components around the engine.
2.Remove Coolant line on top ofthe thermostat housing and plug it with plug included in the kit.

Step 4:
1.Locate coolant line going from OlL Cooler to the 7th injector. Behind The rear of the turbo. Remove the line and Plug it with plug provided in the kit in tothe OlL Cooler Housing.
2.Locate elbow bellow EGR Cooler on the rear side of the engine. X2 13mm Socket bolts. Install New Plug with New gasket included in the kit.
Step 5:
1.Locate EGR Cooler pipe going from Water pump bellow front of the turbo.Remove 1x 10mm bolt and 1x 13mm bolt and remove the pipe.
2.Install freeze plug in to water pump.
Step 6:
Install the intake pipe and all components that was removed for clearance.
Step 7:
Make sure Replace turbo gasket they are not reusable.
