!Before installation, confirm that:
This high-performance component is designed for towing.Always double-check that all locking pins are fully engaged and locked before towing. Failure to do so may result in property damage or serious injury.
This is the installation process for the TH-0026: 2Pcs 1/2" Hammerlock Coupling Links 47,000 lbs Break Strength, for your reference during the installation process.
Step 1:
Fit the two black serrated insulating pads into the inner semicircular arc of the red U-rings.The pads effectively absorb vibrations and prevent the butterfly clip from colliding with the trailer arm during driving, causing abnormal noises.
Step 2:
Snap the two red U-rings (with pads) together in an alternating pattern. If installing on a vehicle trailer arm, ensure that one of the U-rings has passed through the vehicle's mounting hole.
Step 3:
Place the black positioning sleeve into the connecting hole between the two U-rings.
Step 4:
Align the center pin with the hole and insert it. Due to the elastic retaining spring inside the pin positioning sleeve, it cannot be pushed in manually. Please use a hammer to forcefully strike the end of the pin until it completely penetrates the positioning sleeve and locks in place at both ends.
Step 5:
Confirm that both ends of the pin are exposed and the center positioning sleeve is firmly engaged.
Check that the black pad is firmly pressed between the metal ring and the mounting hole.
