L5P Straight Pipe: 4-inch vs 5-inch? I want that deep Duramax rumble!

About to delete my '22 L5P and I’m torn on the exhaust size. I’ve heard that 5" can be a bit too much "drone" inside the cab, but 4" doesn't sound as deep. I’m looking for that aggressive whistle and rumble. What’s everyone running? Any clips of an L5P with a 5" straight pipe out there?

The VGT on the L5P sounds different than the older LMLs. It’s more of a "hiss" at idle. I personally love the 5" sound, it makes the truck feel massive.

I installed 5 inches. You definitely won't regret it when you floor the gas pedal.
