This is the installation process for the DP-0315: 2015-2019 6.7L Ford powerstroke 4" downpipe Exhaust, provided for your reference during installation.
DP-0315

Step 1:
Remove the two original bolts on the ball flange at the downpipe outlet, and loosen the clamps connecting the upper and lower sections of the stock downpipe. Remove the nut securing the support plate to the engine. Keep this nut; it will be needed later.

Step 2:
Use a pry bar to move the particulate filter backward so that the lower end of the stock downpipe can drop down and be removed. Loosen the original V-clamp at the turbocharger outlet. Once loosened, the T-bolt can be removed from the clamp.Remove the bolt securing the bottom bracket of the upper downpipe. Do not discard this bolt. The upper section of the downpipe can now be removed.

Step 3:
First, install the upper pipe onto the turbocharger. It is recommended to over-expand the original V-clamp beforehand, then place it onto the turbocharger outlet flange, adjusting its orientation so that the nuts and bolts can reach it.

Step 4:
Place the upper pipe in position, aligning the holes on the support bracket with the bolt holes on the engine. Loosely tighten the original flange bolts. Rotate the upper pipe into position, ensuring it is flush against the turbocharger outlet. Move the V-clamp onto the flange and tighten the flange bolts on the support bracket to secure the pipe.

Step 5:
Re-fasten the T-bolts on the V-clamp and begin tightening it. Before fully tightening the clamp, loosen the flange bolts on the support bracket to ensure the upper pipe flange properly aligns with the turbocharger flange. Continue tightening the V-clamp, but before fully tightening, retighten the flange bolts to ensure the support bracket is completely secured to the mounting surface. Now, fully tighten the V-clamp.

Step 6:
Place the provided clamps onto the lower exhaust pipe, then slide the lower exhaust pipe onto the upper exhaust pipe, ensuring the support plate holes align with the mounting studs. Install the flange nuts onto the mounting studs to secure the support plate, then tighten the clamps. Using the previously removed original bolts, secure the double-bolted downpipe flange to the original exhaust flange.
