My 2008 6.7L is in "Limp Mode" for the 5th time this year... enough!

I’m done. My 2008 6.7L keeps clogging the DPF every 2,000 miles. I’ve cleaned the EGR valve twice, but it’s still acting up. I’m finally going to do a full delete. For the guys who did it years ago, are you still passing your state inspections, or did you just say screw it? Also, any recommendations for a tuner that actually works on these early 6.7s?

Don't just do the delete, do a full EGR block-off kit too. That EGR system is what’s killing your intake air.I use the Mini Maxx tuner, still runs strong after 100k miles.
 
The '08-'09 6.7s are solid motors once you wake them up. You need a clean tune that monitors EGTs properly. I’ve been running a custom tune + exhaust delete for 50k miles and it’s bulletproof for daily driving.
