This is the installation process for the TH-0001: 2" Receiver Heavy Duty Adjustable Drop Trailer Hitch Mount with Double Anti-Theft Locking Pin 6" Drop/Rise 12,000 lbs GTW, for your reference during the installation process.
Step 1:
Insert the Shank into the Receiver Slide the 2" hitch shank into your vehicle's receiver hitch.
Step 2:
Secure the Shank with Locking Pin Align the holes of the shank with the holes on the receiver. Insert the Long Locking Pin through the holes and secure it using the provided key. Ensure the dust cap is closed to protect the lock cylinder.
Step 3:
Adjust the Ball Mount Height Slide the dual ball mount onto the adjustable shank. Move it up or down to your desired height to ensure your trailer is level. This hitch offers up to a 6" drop or 6" rise.
Step 4:
Lock the Ball Mount Once the desired height is reached, align the holes and insert the Short Locking Pin through the ball mount and shank. Use the key to lock it firmly.
Step 5:
Select the Ball Size Choose between the 2" ball or the 2-5/16" ball by simply flipping the mount before locking it in Step 4. Ensure the ball size matches your trailer coupler.
Step 6:
Final Safety Check Give the hitch a firm shake to ensure there is no excessive play. Verify that both locks are engaged and the keys are stored in a safe place. You are now ready to hitch your trailer.

Lubrication: Periodically apply hitch grease to the trailer balls to reduce friction and wear.
