This high-performance component does not comply with the laws and regulations for highway driving and cannot be used on any vehicle that has been registered or certified for use on highways. This means that the component may only be suitable for racing cars or other off-road vehicles. If it is installed on vehicles driving on the highway, legal issues will be borne by oneself.
This is the installation process for the DP-0009: 2001-2016 6.6L Chevrolet Chevy GMC Duramax LB7 LLY LBZ LMM LML Exhaust Up-Pipe(Passenger Side), provided for your reference during installation.
Step 1:
1.For better operation, first remove the passenger side tire.
2.Loosen the screw securing the V-clip of the downpipe. and remove the V-clip and bolt.
Step 2:
1.After loosening the downpipe, move the dipstick bracket away to remove the downpipe.
2.Use a wrench to unscrew the six 12mm bolts at the top and bottom of the passenger up-pipe.
Step 3:
Place the gasket provided in the kit onto the bottom of the passenger upper pipe to match it, with the rigid side facing the side of the cab upper pipe and the smooth side placed on the turbine base and manifold.
Step 4:
Use factory bolts and a wrench to secure the bottom and top screws of the passenger upper pipe, ensuring that the bottom bracket is fixed to the bolt in the original way.
Step 5:
Release the dipstick, install the inventory drain pipe back onto the truck in its original way, and tighten the V-belt clamp tightly against the drain pipe interface near the rear of the turbine.
