This is the installation process for the IA-0005: 2003-2007 6.0L Ford F250 F350 Cold Air Intake Kit,provided for your reference during installation.
Step 1:
Park the vehicle on a level surface, allow the engine to cool, and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
Step 2:
Loosen the clamps securing the air filter and remove the original air filter.
Step 3:
Disconnect the air flow sensor.
Step 4:
Loosen all hose clamps, remove the throttle body, disconnect the intake bellows, then loosen the clamps securing the rubber hoses on the turbocharger and disconnect the turbocharger's intake pipe.
Step 5:
Fit the new rubber coupling sleeve onto the turbocharger housing and tighten it with clamps.
Step 6:
Install the PVC valve adapter onto the PCV interface, ensuring it is properly seated. Then, fit the PVC hose onto the PVC valve adapter.
Step 7:
Tighten the screws onto the new air intake pipe to secure the air flow sensor.
Step 8:
Install the intake pipe bracket onto the new air intake pipe, initially tightening it slightly by hand.
Step 9:
Place a clamp on the rubber connecting sleeve, then slide the Air Intake Pipe into place, fully inserting it into the rubber sleeve, and tighten the clamp. Push the mounting bracket into the original air filter housing mounting hole, ensuring it is fully inserted, and then tighten the bolts on the bracket.
Step 10:
After securing it, insert the air flow sensor into the intake manifold.
Step 11:
Connect the previously installed PVC hose to the intake manifold connector.
Step 12:
Place the filter onto the new Air Intake Pipe and clamp the filter with the matching clamp, ensuring a seal.
