2006-2007 6.6L Chevrolet Silverado Classic GMC Duramax LBZ Diesel EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit

!Before installation, confirm that:

This high-performance component does not comply with the laws and regulations for highway driving and cannot be used on any vehicle that has been registered or certified for use on highways. This means that the component may only be suitable for racing cars or other off-road vehicles. If it is installed on vehicles driving on the highway, legal issues will be borne by oneself.


This is the installation process for the ER-0024: 2006-2007 6.6L Chevrolet Silverado Classic GMC Duramax LBZ Diesel EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit, for your reference during the installation process.
ER-0024
Step 1:
1.Disconnect the battery.
2.Drain the coolant.
3.Remove intake resonator By loosening hose clamp and Suppor bolt.

Step 2:
1.Disconnect the mass air flow sensor. Remove the intake tube by loosening the hose clamps on the intake tube.
2.Remove the zipper and unplug the wire from the intake pipe.

Step 3:
1.Remove the intake pipe fixed by one hose clamp and six bolts.
Note: keep debris out of the intake system.
2.Remove the PCV hose on the passenger side of the truck.

Step 4:
Remove the 4 bolts and nuts that secure the EGR valve to the motor.Disconnect all coolant lines leading to the EGR cooler. Now the Entire EGR assembly can be pulled out. Be sure to keep the exhaust gasket for installing the baffle.

Step 5:
Pre install the charging tube using the provided baffle with O-ring.
Note: Be sure to install two longer bolts on the front side of the pipe.

Step 6:
1.Install the provided bracket onto the motor using a factory bolt and the M10 x 20 hex head bolt provided in the kit.
2.Install the exhaust block using the provided 20mm and 30mm bolts. All bolts will be installed from the back of the baffle.

Step 7:
Replace the EGR coolant pipeline with the provided coolant pipeline. This will reconnect the coolant from the return pipe to the thermostat.

Step 8:
1.Re-install intake tube with the front long bolts going through the previously installed support bracket.
2.Reverse earlier steps to re-install the pcv hose, electrical wires, intake and intake resonator.

Step 9:
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for leaks and add coolant if necessary.
Note: Check the coolant after driving and add coolant if necessary.
