2018-2024 6.7L Dodge RAM Cummins Bypass Cable

This high-performance component does not comply with the laws and regulations for highway driving and cannot be used on any vehicle that has been registered or certified for use on highways. This means that the component may only be suitable for racing cars or other off-road vehicles. If it is installed on vehicles driving on the highway, legal issues will be borne by oneself.


This is the installation process for the ER-0286: 2018-2024 6.7L Dodge RAM Cummins Bypass Cable, provided for your reference during installation.

Step 1:
Please ensure that the vehicle is turned off before performing subsequent operations.

Step 2:
Locate the OBD2 interface below the dashboard, which is usually on the driver's side. Gently press the clasps on both sides to remove the entire original factory connector from its housing.

Step 3:
1.Remove the two gray pin retainers from the back of the connector.
2.Locate the back of the OBD2 connector and replace the cables at pins 6 and 14: change the blue wire of the bypass cable to the yellow wire at the pin, and replace the brown wire of the bypass cable with the brownish wire at the pin. For the 2019-2024 models, replace the blue wire of the bypass cable with the brownish wire of the pin, and the brown wire of the bypass cable with the yellow wire of the pin.
3.If the cable cannot be connected to the truck after installation, please try swapping the wires. Reinstall the two grey pin fixers.

Step 4:
Insert the 2-pin wire bundle into the vehicle connector.The connection operation of vehicle models from different years varies slightly.
2018: Insert the 2-pin wire bundle into any empty position in the connector.

2019+ : Insert the wiring harness into the bottom row of the connector from the fifth position from the left.
