This is a 33,000 lbs high-strength two-way quick-connect hook designed specifically for heavy-duty off-road rescue. It can quickly and safely connect the anchor point and the rope without tools in scenarios such as vehicle extrication, winch self-rescue, and trailer belt extension.
Step 1:
Press the silver safety latch with your finger and thread one end of the S-hook onto the vehicle's attachment point. The attachment point is usually located on the original trailer hitch on the chassis, the D-ring on the trailer hitch, or the winch's rope guide. Check to ensure the latch fully springs back into place.
Step 2:
Thread the tow rope eyelet or winch cable loop onto the other end of the S-hook. Again, ensure the latch returns to its original position.
