Cat/muffler delete for stock exhaust

Hi!! I’m wondering who here is running a 6.0 Powerstroke muffler delete or cat/muffler delete while still using the stock exhaust. I’m curious what setups people are using and how you like the results.
Did you need a tune to run it, or did everything work fine without one? I’m kind of on the fence about doing it and would like to hear some real pros and cons from people who’ve tried it.
Emissions testing isn’t an issue for me, and I’d prefer something that’s more of a simple bolt-on setup if possible.
Thanks!

The 6.0 Powerstroke engine's stock exhaust system lacks a complex DPF pressure sensor, thus eliminating the need for ECU remapping.

Modifying the exhaust system with the stock exhaust is the most economical and convenient method, and the modified exhaust system looks identical to the original.

I used a 3.5-inch straight-through pipe, which provides the smoothest exhaust flow and reduces carbon buildup compared to simply removing the muffler.

Just use a muffler delete pipe (4" or stock size). You don't need a tune because the 6.0 turbo provides enough backpressure. Results: Louder whistle, lower EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temps), and it's a simple bolt-on. The only 'con' is the drone at highway speeds if you're sensitive to it.

I ran a cat/muffler delete on the stock pipe for years. No tune required, no CEL (Check Engine Light). You’ll love the turbo whistle and the lower EGTs. It’s the cheapest way to let that 6.0 breathe. Just buy the delete pipes and clamp them in.
