I’m still shaking as I type this. I was doing about 70 MPH on the highway today in my 2021 F-250 (completely stock, 40k miles). I hit a small expansion joint on a bridge and the entire front end of the truck started vibrating so violently I thought the wheels were going to fly off. I had to almost come to a complete stop in the middle of traffic to get it to quit.
WHAT exactly causes an $80k truck to do this? Is it a broken part, or is HOW I’m driving it? I’ve heard people talk about 'Death Wobble' before but I thought it was only for old, beat-up Jeeps. HOW do I even start fixing this? I’m honestly afraid to take it back on the highway. Any advice on WHAT to check first would be a lifesaver.
