This is the installation process for the ER-0332: 2017-2023 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P Resonator Delete Plug,provided for your reference during installation.
Step 1:
1.Identify the large plastic "6.6L Duramax" resonator box located on top of the engine intake manifold.
2.Use a screwdriver or socket to loosen the gear clamp securing the resonator box to the intake intake horn.
3.Carefully pull the resonator box upward and out of the engine bay. Keep the factory clamp for the next step.
Step 2:
1.Clean the interface of any oil or debris. Press the Billet Resonator Delete Plug firmly into the opening. Ensure the O-ring is seated correctly.
2.Slide the factory clamp over the plug and tighten securely. Start the engine and check for any boost leaks at idle.
