This is the installation process for the TH-0022: 5/8" Hitch Lock Anti-Theft Trailer Lock with Rattle-Free O-Rings, for your reference during the installation process.
Step 1:
Open the dust cover on top of the lock cylinder. Insert the key into the lock cylinder and rotate it clockwise 1/4 turn to unlock and remove the lock cylinder.
Step 2:
Insert the pin into the receiver. Place the lock cylinder back onto the end of the pin, insert the key, and rotate it counterclockwise 1/4 turn to lock.
Step 3:
Pull the lock cylinder outwards firmly to ensure it is securely locked into the pin slot and will not fall out. After confirming it is locked, replace the dust cover to prevent dirt or moisture from entering the lock cylinder.
Step 4:
After use, unlock the lock cylinder with the key and remove the pin from the receiver hole for safekeeping to prevent corrosion caused by prolonged exposure to extreme environments.
