This is the installation process for the TH-0004: 2" Receiver Heavy Duty Towing Ball Trailer Hitch Mount with Key Lock Pin 3/4" Separate Shackle 50,600 lbs Break Strength, for your reference during the installation process.
Step 1:
Insert the tail of the rotatable trailer hitch into the 2in trailer hitch receiver tube at the rear of the vehicle.
Step 2:
1.To unlock the trailer hitch lock:Align the key with the keyhole, insert it, and rotate clockwise.The lock core will automatically pop out.
2.Adjust to the desired exposed length and align with one of the lock holes, then insert the locking pin.
3.Press the lock core until it is flush and cover it with the protective cover.
Step 3:
1.Insert the part with the bolt into the top mounting hole of the rotatable trailer hitch.(Rubber gaskets are provided and can be added to achieve a more stable effect.)
2.Thread the previously removed C-shaped shackle body onto the other end of the bolt and install the screw.
3.Use the Hex key to tighten the anti-theft small screws on both ends.
Step 4:
Place the upper end of the hitch tightener over the edge of the rotatable trailer hitch near the receiver tube.
Step 5:
Pass the bolt through the hole in the hitch tightener base plate and tighten it. Completed.
